  • SIBO
  • Parasites
  • Chronic yeast infection – Thrush
  • Constipation/Diarrhoea
  • General digestive discomfort
  • Halitosis – bad breath

  • GAPS diet implementation
  • Specific carbohydrate diet (SCD) program

As my practice evolved I tended to get a lot of people coming in for digestive health issues. I love working with all things digestion but I’m especially fond of inflammatory bowel disease’s such as Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s Disease and have had great successes working with these conditions with people who stick with my program.

Many people suffer from constant bloating, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, diarrhoea, excess flatulence and/or burping, bad breath – None of these are normal. All are a sign that something is not quiet right.   As Naturopath’s we tend to focus on the digestive system a lot anyway. After studying Kinesiology for two years I developed many new tools, one of which was muscle testing for food intolerances or food and airbourne ‘stressors’. This is a great tool in clinic as on the initial consult I can send you home with a list of foods to avoid. Most people get instant improvement from avoiding these foods. We then work on the digestive system, and immune system and often adrenals and by also using Kinesiology we clear these stressors, so that you can enjoy these foods again without any bloating, constipation, cramping, gas, pain, diarrhoea, or anything unusual.

Within digestion I almost always check for parasites and if present we do a parasite cleanse. I also always like to look at the microbiome – what are your good bacteria doing? I find working on the microbiome gives us a tool for ensuring your gut and body stay healthy once we get you feeling good.

We live in an era of extremely poor digestive health. This may be due to our modern diets, high use of antibiotics, stressful lifestyles, super clean living environments, not being breast fed at all or for long enough, fed too early as infants, caesarian births, fed too many grain based foods as infants. Some of us have been eating foods that irritate our guts for years. In short our modern world is not good for our ancient bodies.
